I’m Joe Buffington, J.D., Ph.D.
I recently retired from being a law school professor and am excited to start a few new adventures!
One thing I intend to continue is my 20+ years of experience in helping students pass the bar exam. I’m grateful for my time in the legal academy in part because it provided me the opportunity to apply logistic regression and other statistical tests to significant datasets and show how each interaction with me meaningfully increases a graduate’s odds of passing the exam. Now it’s time to apply the details I’ve discovered within that information, amplified by my expertise in law and linguistics, and do what I do best: tutor bar examinees one-on-one.
Each bar exam season, I will work exclusively with a limited number of examinees on an hourly basis. The first hour, to give us a chance to see if it’s a good fit, is free.
